Terms & Conditions Pet handling: During the grooming process, all care is taken to ensure the health of your pet is considered. Dog groomers are not liable for any pre-existing conditions and problems found during grooming. Any advice given regarding health problems should be checked out by a qualified vet. De-matting: In the event of matted fur needing a clip down, the owner should be aware that irritation may occur from the shaving process. These matts tend to be located very close to the skin around the ears, armpits, groin. The dog's skin may get caught because of the close proximity of working to the skin. The owner agrees that The Groomers shall not be held liable for any after grooming effects of matt clipping procedures or problems 'uncovered' on a badly matted or neglected coat. The owner agrees to pay all costs for the grooming of the dog including de-matting, whether or not the groomer is able to complete the job. Aggressive or Difficult Dogs: The Groomers reserves the right to refuse to groom any pet for the safety of the groomer and the dog. The owner agrees to inform The Groomers prior to grooming if the dog has bitten or has a history of aggressive behaviour. The owner understands they will be held liable for all bites caused by their dog. The Groomers will make contact with the owner prior to the appointment to confirm that the date and time is still convenient. Appointment cards will be issued for return visits booked well in advance. Vaccinations: To ensure that all of our clients are treated well and to prevent cross contamination, The Groomers sterilise all equipment daily. Please ensure that your pet’s vaccinations are up to date, and puppies will not be groomed until at least 4 months old. Hygiene: Please ensure that your dog has taken a natural break prior to the grooming session. Please call 0151 427 9385 If you have any questions about the above policies. |
