I am fully qualified to implant security micro chips in all dogs, cats,
ferrets and rabbits to help your pet be safely returned to you should it
go missing.

The government is proposing a scheme to ensure that all dogs and cats
are identified with a micro chip or tattoo.

The micro chip is implanted into the fatty tissue between the pet’s
shoulders and causes no more discomfort to your pet than a standard
injection.

The chip (only 11.5mm in length) uses Radio Frequency technology
(RFID) and cannot be tampered with, removed or fade. All chips are
registered for the lifetime of the pet with the national Petlog database
with the pet and owners details.

These details can only be viewed, amended or deleted by Petlog run
by the Kennel Club. Its also worth noting that Petlog is part of
EuroPetNet covering several European countries, so if you lose your
pet whilst traveling in Spain, France etc then you still have a good
chance of being reunited with it.
